Great Weekend

We had a great weekend! Chandler told me he wanted to go to baseball game. I don't know where he picked it up or why he decided baseball game, but we went Friday night. The Astros played the Pirates and of course lost, but we had a great time. They did Friday Night Fireworks, but all the noise from the music and boom of fireworks made Chandler want to leave. We did get to see some though. Chandler was SO good at the game and wanted to see the choo choo move, but it didn't till the end. Needless to say it was a late night and Chandler slept in the next morning which is always a plus! We got up and had waffles, while daddy laid in bed a little extra longer. After piddling around the house, we decided to do something fun again. So we packed up a lunch and went to Brazos Bend State Park, we played and ate hamburgers for lunch. Then we went for a walk on one of the trails. Midway through the walk a large thunderstorm stated to approach so we hurried to the car and just as we arrived at the car, pouring rain. So we sat in the car till it started to die down and then went to the nature center. that was boring! Chandler did not like the snakes either, takes after mommy so we left and went to find the observartory which was open, but we didn't get to see anything. Keith and I are going to go back alone one night and check it out, can you say date night! Of course, we make it back to the car and pouring rain again. We drive to the front and stop at 40 acre lake cause we wanted to see the observation tower, but no such luck just an alligator and bub had no fear which of course freaked me out so we left. It made for a great weekend, I have a couple pictures from my phone. Sure do miss my camera.
